This is a contents page of a Kerrang magazine, this is based over a one page spread, the top corner of the article to the left is very informational and includes the issue number and the date.
Also the contents page is filled with images this makes the contents seem more lively and interesting to the readers. The colour scheme of the contents page is yellow, black & red. This also is this front covers colour scheme and ties in nicely.
The images featured are used well to promote certain articles and draws the eye to their page numbers. The articles are sectioned up and make the contents page seem more organised and professional.
There is also a section on the editor which explains the reason for the different magazine theme.
The images in the contents page: All the models in the images are looking at the camera this is conventional as it allows the TA to feel contact with the artist.
The magazine also uses Dyer's theory 'a star is a image, not a real person.' Even though they are in casual costume, they have been posed and arranged in muted colours. They actually look quite bland however the darker colours further represent rock. Additionally this enhances the yellow and red font.
