Research: TA Analysis

When I gathered my results I found some answers slightly surprising although some were very obvious. I noticed that most of the people I asked did read gossip or any. I don't believe that the answer "any" was very well understood by my TA, this is my own fault for not giving options for people to choose. I was glad to hear that most of my ta audience like reading interviews this is good for me as my DPS was going to be related around a interview.

Although I didn't really want to write or add lifestyle features to my magazine although many of my ta wanted this. Although I do believe that for teenagers life style tips can be seen as a need. For my third question I asked people if they wanted free downloads for music, most of my TA group said yes which I was very happy about as from my personally expectations a teen music magazine should include some sort of free downloads from itunes or spotify.

One thing which did make me surprised was how much students or teenagers would pay for a music magazine I know from personally experience many teenagers don't receive a lot of money for items like magazines this is why I think that £1-£3 is a good price range for my magazine as most of my ta said that they would pay that and although the feel of my magazine might be cheep it will be jammed packed full of items and gossip I hope my readers will love.

I did ask my TA if they wanted a simple or a busy front cover and contents page, nearly all of my ta wanted a simplistic front cover which I agree with as a too busy front cover can be off putting and a simplistic contents can also be very beautiful.

I asked my audience if they wanted games, quiz's and competitions most people said no to these questions which I did slightly expect this answer and I am grateful for these answers I understand as people have said this.

  1. Capitals for TA, you must add audience theory to this: Morley, Hall, Blumler and Katz.
